1999 Jeep Wrangler Sport, "Beast"

Beast was a bit of a return trip to my childhood. We found "Beast" up in North Georgia and I decided it was time to try my hand at the largest lifted Jeep we had ever taken in. When we came upon this rig it was looking quasi rough, but I could see the beastly (pun intended) potential of this TJ Wrangler.

I convinced Adam to join me on the trek up and as he and I inspected the Jeep it brought back many a childhood memories - for both of us. I'm not sure if we even paid enough attention to the inspection. We were too busy smiling like little boys about stories of the past in another Jeep that was very similar to Beast.

Beast needed some TLC - they all do. I could see dry rotted Super Swampers, wretched decals that needed to be carefully removed, surface rust that needed to be stripped and re finished and little modifications necessary to put this thing back in the limelight.

After very difficult negotiations we had the title in hand and it was time to head home to build the laundry list of replacement parts and pieces.

This Wrangler turned out beautiful. I actually hung on to this rig for several months as I enjoyed it and it looked so cool. After we finished all the work on it including accessorizing it to death, it was off to its new home.
